I have selected these workshops, conferences, etc. for a variety of reasons. I am interested in a variety of science topics and would like to learn more about them, but funds to attend workshops are limited. Basically, if I am going to attend a workshop, it will be low-cost or free, offer graduate credit (or CEU's), provide resources that I can take for use in my own classroom, and above all, be interesting. I have not attended all of these, but I have attended many of them (and highly recommend them) and plan to attend more. There are no doubt more workshops out there (see NSTA's website), but I think these are a good start.
